1450 axle help

I have a Cub 1450. The front axle is moving to the right when steering the tractor. I just bought this and am working on restoring it. My question is if the front frame might be bent where the axle pin goes in. Mine has a slight bow in it, and I'm wondering if it should be perfectly straight across. Anyone know?

Thanks

The C-channel that the axle rides in often gets spread apart by the axle moving around. Remove the front axle, and then squeeze it back together with a 3/4" bolt and nut through the axle pivot in the frame. You might have to try it a few times until the axle fits nicely in the frame with no slop.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll try closing the gap in the frame channel.
