How can I check to see my generator is charging?
 

Kind of a stupid question but I want to check and make sure my generator is charging the battery. How do I go about doing this with a multimeter?.

if you can unhook the battery while the tractor is running and it doesnt die then its charging.

Measure the battery voltage. Then start the tractor and run it 3/4 or full throttle and measure the battery voltage again. If the voltage is higher, it's charging the battery.
