My brother in law and my sister got a place with a yard big enough to require a riding mower. They both thought I was kinda weird for collecting multiple Cubs and attachments. Well I sold him my 127 today and he has been grinning ear to ear. All his neighbors like it too. I kinda miss it, it did well mowing grass. But had to make space for the 982. I told him cub fever is contagious

His neighbor riding it. He said they were racing mowers in on his road and the 127 was the fastest!

There is an old story that I have heard in which a man bought a new cub cadet and a new Cadillac and his neighbors asked to see the new cub cadet. Sounds like you might be selling some more cubs to other neighbors and friends......better keep a good supply of them ready!

Yeah that's a good one! I plan to look for more derelict Cubs in need of some TLC. I didn't make anything on it, just charged what I had in it. As far as my time id rather being doing that kind of stuff than pay a psych for a checkup from the neck up

Collecting Cubs is definitely a addiction we can live with, they multiply like rabbits!

When my next door neighbor decided it was time for a new mower, I tried my best to convince him to get an older Cub Cadet.

Instead he decided on a 1000 series new cub cadet and ended up purchasing it from a big box store because it was $50 less than the dealer. :bash2:

It was ok for the first year but the second year he started having problems. The best was when he blew out the drive belt and asked "Can you use your old Cub Cadet to tow mine up to the garage? " Since the front bumper on his was nothing more than sheetmetal, I had to drag it backwards. I even made sure to go up the steepest part of his yard :biggrin2:

He did admit he should have listened to me :beerchug:

There are nine houses from the intersection to my house. Three of those have older Cub Cadets :beerchug:
