GT1554 Wiring Diagram needed

Hi folks! First time posting!

My GT1554 has had a starting issue for a while now. Turn the key, and everything comes on, but does nothing when turned to the start position. I popped the hood and lightly pulled up on the wiring connector at the back of the switch while turning the key, and it spun over . I first thought the switch was bad, and by pulling up on the connector/harness at the switch, it was getting contact. I replaced the switch, but it's still the same. I've pulled off the connectors at the solenoid and cleaned them as well. I've been popping the hood and pulling up on the harness while turning the key to start it for a while and it's getting real old! I know eventually the root of the problem will completely go out and probably at the worst possible time! I've also noticed that it has stopped charging as well. I checked at the battery with the throttle wide open, and it showed battery voltage only. I don't figure that is related to my other problem, but another reason I'd like to obtain a wiring diagram, or if some one could tell me what wire goes where off of the switch!

I'm figuring it's a bad wire in the harness, but before I go through the pain of removing the battery tray to gain a little bit of access to the wiring, I'd like to know what wire goes where instead of going at it blind!

If anyone has a wiring diagram that shows the starting/charging circuit, I'd greatly appreciate it!

The wiring diagram is on the Cub Parts site. You'll need the serial number for your machine to get the proper diagram. Cub used a couple different engines in those mowers.

Type 1554 for the model then select your tractor.

Thanks! With a little perseverance, I finally found it! I had already been on their site looking for one. It states the wiring diagrams are found in the operators manual. I still had mine, and it wasn't in there. I downloaded several of the ones they had listed, and they didn't have it either. I kept searching and found a section for the professional shop manual and clicked on it figuring I'd have to buy it. To my surprise, it was a free pdf download! Now the fun begins!

Glad you found it but it is also in the parts listing for some of the 1554's.
