Quietline Motor Rail Modification - Support Brace Thickness

Good morning again fellow IH CC'ers!

Within the "Quietline Motor Rail Modification" post by RChristensen in the technical section of this forum (http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=4630), it's stated to use a stock thickness of .25" for the support brace. Would 3/16" be Ok? I have more ready access to that thickness of stock.

3/16" flat stock will be fine. :beerchug:
