GT3200 Front Wheel Bearings

Time to replace front wheel bearings on my GT3200. In the past, when bearings were replaced on my 149 and 1650 I went to a steel ground bearing with elastomeric seals, over the pressed metal dealer offering, same price but longevity is almost lifetime! When at local CC dealer, measured a part #941-3002 (dreaded pressed metal style,) shows a 1x2x.5" leaving a .437" tall section on outside of bearing under stop flange. Not yet having disassembled fronts, was attempting to source bearings, making it a one-shot, one hour project, can only come up with a .562" side with .5" under stop flange. Anyone know if there is enough room depth in wheel thru tube that holds the bearings to accept the additional .062" of bearing side?
:bigthink:
Thanks guys!
