Front wheels stuck

I am trying to take off the front wheels on the 1914 for new tires and paint but I can't get them off. Took off the bolts and washers. PB blaster and pounding with a maul (wood to protect the wheel). I have smashed a couple of 2x4s already and neither one will budge. Looks like the bearing races are rusted to the shaft. Bearings are shot so I don't care if they get ruined. Any bright ideas?
Thanks
Adam

Heat and beat. Maybe a BIG puller. Take a punch and smack the bearing where it fits over the shaft. About all I can recommend at the moment.

Fair enough. Unfortunately I only have a little plumbing torch and no puller that would fit on the wheel. I will keep on it with the PB and pounding. Maybe let the PB soak a couple of days.
Thanks

Drop the spindle and block up the wheel and put a bolt in the end of the spindle and whack it till it comes out

X2. Or use an air hammer/chisel. Probably the usual get it to budge, then back the other way, then the other way, you get the idea. PB is your friend. The repetitive constant shock of the air hammer does well if you have access to one.

Great idea. I will give that a try after my wife wakes up. (Night shift)
Thanks!

Take a board and put on back of rim prying off axle. To put a little pressure and the hit bolt head. The shock should move it.

I pulled the spindles and put in a 6" bolt and gave it a good whack and out she came. Now i need to get the bearings pulled. Fun fun.
Thanks again.
