Hello all I just opened the transmission for some inspecting and found alot of water and well i dont know.is there any more to look at while im this far after cleaning. and do you put the new gaskets on dry or use a silicone with them.If you look at the 1 pic you can see how much water came out on the table

if i were you id completely disassemble it and clean everything, check all the bearings for pitting and replace as necessary.

Agreed. Take off the rear cover and plan on new gaskets and axle seals at least
As long as you are this far, you may as well do it right.
It looks as though this unit has been sand blasted. If so, a new input seal and thorough cleaning of the shift tower will be in order also

thanks for the help I have new gaskets and new bearings for it just never took a transmission apart before so I'm a little intimidated by it.

DVOGTVPE: You are right, it is cracked, but its 2 and 3. Any tip for a NLA part? Or, can it be welded?

Let me say I've never worked on that model, but experience tells me that
it is malleable and therefore weldable being at a clamp point.
If it were mine I'd remove the shift fork, "V" it out and weld it while lightly clamped on a shaft the same size it goes onto.( Brass would be a preferable shaft as weld will not stick to it.)
Don't know your welding skills, but if none, have a knowledgeable welder do it.
I'd use a high Nickel content rod.
Normally shift forks are only hardened @ the tips, where that are exposed to the rotating gears, and some are hard chrome plated for wear resistance.

ok I can drive the r-1 pin out but the 2nd-3rd i can not is there a sertin way it comes out ?

just pick up a used one. you can weld them. they usually crack right next to the weld
