Barrett Jackson

Just letting all the gearheads know that the Barrett Jackson auction starts tomorrow, I usually like to watch the first couple days because the cars go cheap enough for the average person to afford.

One of my Bros lives in Arizona and the auction is like 30 min from his place. He has went the last couple times. He sent me a text yesterday saying he would be attending this one. He usually sends pics. I'll try to post some up on here. It's really cool he gets to go..... the little :censored:

While I enjoy watching, I have mixed emotions inasmuch some ppl have some old
beater and figure it is worth a million $$$ and want that for it.
We have all seen it with many things.
Evilpray is a good example.
A fair price is what one pays and one receives with amicable feelings of the transaction.
My Dad Always said:

B. Jackson is a good entertainment and takes the edge off political crap.:biggrin2:

I'm with you on those first days. I think i posted this same message about 3 years ago when i saw some good deals. I would like one for the wife's car. I just missed a 74 Nova 6cyl with a blown head gasket(5ok miles) last year when i had access to v8 crate motor. Mike:beer2:

As much as I like the looks of the Nova's its one car I wouldn't want to own and that has something to do with something I saw when I was a kid. We use to do 24hr towing and I remember my dad hauling in a Nova that had been hit by a water truck, the car was split clean in half at the driver seat and the lady driving it got killed. It sat here for a couple weeks before it was hauled off for scrap but it will always be a memory thats burned into my head.

plus a few years ago there were commercials on tv that said the "NOVA" didnt sell well in mexico or something like that beacuse nova translated into "it dont go" lol

Here we can see Barret Jackson show but only on Velocity channel and I don't have it :-(

For me anything over $30K US is too expensive for a fun weekend car or truck.

For cheap fun I think FFR kit still give you a good bang for the buck, the 818 coupe catch ALL my younger son attention...:RollEyes2:

Yes, i never liked those unibody cars, but, we had a 74 nova 6 banger for a while way back when. I think it even had leaf springs in the back. Mike
