Got my solid mounts and new drive shaft installed
 

I finally got my solid engine mounts and new drive shaft in the weekend and fired up this evening! Ole 1200 didn't shake bad at all! Thanks to Jeff in PA for making quality product like the solid mounts! Modified my 3 pin driver and ground off the rivets for the flex plate and welded a steel washer in there. Used the plate as a template for the mounting holes. I filed and ground the center to fit the drive hub. No vibration or wobble! Should last a lot longer than that old crappy flex plate!


Edit: oh did the cradle mod too!

Good to hear you got it done, I know you been planning on it for a while.

Thanks guys the hardest part was getting he engine back in the tractor. Dam thing is heavy! Need to adjust the carb some plug was very sooty. Bought a couple battery tenders put one on each tractor, sure helps a lot!
