How much would you give for this cub?
Friend is offering his cub 102 that is halfway set up for pulling but not quite there. He just rebuilt the engine from the bottom up. He already sold the mower deck for it. He painted it all red with white wheels in the back kinda like a bigger tractor. I don't want to low ball him but want to give him a honest amount. If i could get a picture to upload I would but it doesn't seem to want to work. Thanks in advance.

Can you post a few picture(s)?

I've tryed to upload them to the post and my photo gallery but to no avail it just keeps giving me an error message. Sorry i know its kinda hard to give a good estimate without a picture.

At least $50

Without pics nobody can give you a real price. Was the engine rebuilt properly or did it just get a new set of rings? Is the paint job nice or is it a hack job?

Work on figuring out the picture issue, that will help everyone help you.
Some folks definition of a pulling tractor is no muffler, straight pipe, ag tires with barbell weights secured to them, wheelie bars with wheels off a $99 push mower and running the throttle WAO. Other folks use cut tires, adjustable wheelie bars, modified driveshafts, clutches, professionaly hot-rodded engines, dropped front ends. Guess what I am saying is to tell us how much of the machine is still stock and what type of pulling you want to do with it. I don't get into pulling myself but have watched several as well as examined quite a few of the nicer setups. If some of those fellows wives new how much money had been poured into a lawn mower... |
