Latest Addition to the Cub Shack
In the look what followed me home category. A 122, my second. Runs and mows great. This will become my trim mower, as it has the 38 inch deck and someone has added another hole for the draglink to the left front spindle, which allows for a tighter turning radius. Now I have (2) 122s, (2) 123s, (2) 104s, a 125, a 107 and (2) 2135s. That makes 10 Cubs in all.

Thanks, guys for the comments.
Truckntran, I'll try and take pictures of the steering mod later today - if it don't rain that is. It seems to work - it does seem to turn tighter. I've heard of it and was thinking about trying it, and then lo and behold, I find one for sale with the mod already done. I've heard it does make it harder to turn, if does a little, but it does seem to allow for tighter turning. And it's only marginal harder to turn, but not by much. CBH, Yeah, I lost that lid a few months back. I was at Bucheitt's, a local farm and ranch chain here, and loaded up some stuff on the trailer, pull some straps out of the ammo can (which is what I use the ammo cans for - storage) and forgot to close and latch the lid. About a mile or two from the place, as I was heading down the interstate, I saw that the lid was missing in the rearview mirror. |
