TIG welding with a rotary positioner
 
One of the jobs at work is a steel shaft with aluminum bronze welded on it. Jeremiah welds two pieces of TIG wire and one pass around consumes almost 6' of filler wire.

Notice the consistency of the sound as he welds.

i wish i could tig weld, we have a nice tig but i just cant get the hang of it.

Start out with steel or stainless. That's the easiest to weld.

the problem is my dad bought it to do sheet metal and every time i try i just warp the crap out of it but i can mig it no problem.
