Suggestions for shope that blueprint Kohler engines?
 

I've got a 1650 I'd like to do a complete restore on and was wondering if anyone has recommendations on shops that specialize in Kohler blueprints/rebuilds? Any idea on how much such services would run? How much does the engine weigh anyhow? Just wondering if it can be shipped?

I do rebuilld single cylinder Kohler motors if anyone is interrested. I charge:
labor-$150 (tear down and rebuild motor)
rebuild carb-$15 (does not include installing throttle shaft and bushing)

machine shop gets:
$60 to bore a cylinder
$12 to regrind valve
$12 to surface head
$50 to $60 to grind crank

Parts that need replace:
rod
piston
rings
governor gear(plastic version)
head bolts
aluminum points pushrod
crank seals and gaskets

Cost above does not include parts.
Owner pays shipping charges
I only do stock rebuilds
