Dozer blades ?

Which would be a better blade? An international 54 inch or a Haban 54 inch? None of them have the hydraulic angle, but will have if I buy one. Will be going on a 2072.

Just my 2 cents but I'd go for the Haban :beerchug:

for one the Haban will direct fit on your super. the IH blade will not without some modifications. Haban is considerably heavier too. Go Haban!

Thanks guys. Sounds like I will go with the Haban blade. I didn't know the International would not be a direct fit. Also Shaner, I see you are into the Ford's. Probably 15 years ago I had a Ford LGT 14D. Wish I had that back, that was a nice little tractor. Oh well, as they say hind sight is 20/20.

Yes I have a few Ford's. I've been seeing a trend of dirt cheap ford diesels near me...but I always have my sights set on something else at the time.

Here is one that comes up on Ebay today!

Not a bad price and somewhat close to you. I have 10 Supers and 9 blades. Took me several years to find mine as they are getting very rare to find.

Yep, I've been watchin that for a while, just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

OK pulled the trigger on the Haban blade. Nice young guy had it. His grandpa had a dealership back in the day and this guy still messes with them. He showed me a M& W 9 speed on an Original his grandpa sold years ago. That makes 2 I have seen in the last month. Then he mentioned a guy by the name of Geezer that sent him a long hand written letter telling him of the history of the 9 speed and he was also trying to locate as many as possible. Just thought you guys would enjoy that as I think a lot of you guys knew of Geezer personally. Any how, all I need to do is fab 2 rear mounting brackets and get a hydraulic cylinder and I should be ready.

If you put a set of rear end braces on your 2072, which I would highly recommend, you will also have the rear mounting bracket.
