A coat of paint, and some duct tape for the seat, and you are ready to go.

Ooooooh......be careful! Before you know it, you will have many of these things hanging around your place. They somehow seem to follow each other into the barns, sheds, buildings, garages and back yards of unsuspecting men, of which many eventually end up on this web site, seeking answers and cures for The Yellow Fever. No one here can cure the fever, but many will aid in making it more manageable.
Welcome to the Brotherhood of the Cub. :beer2: |
Congrats on your 123. Have fun with it! :beerchug:

Nice 123  |
well, this makes 2 in the last month and a half, and another on the way, from the same guy i got the first 123 from, I just have to wait until I have time to go get it ! I am very surprised at how quiet the hydro trans is, I have had 4 other hydros, 18hp ranchking(MTD), 11 hp yamaha,18hp craftsman, and MY JD 400 and they were all pretty noisy, to be honest, I didnt notice anynoise or whine from the 123 I really expected to hear something ! My wife is againt having all of these as I have 4 currently and am getting the other 123, but she will not let duct tape pass for the seat,LOLshe actually has been looking for a replacement for the 105, which would be the same as the 123, but she is after the correct seat from the factory wether it is a nockoff, or just a seat cover, so she is actually cool with putting it back the way it came, just may take a lil more time , to save the $$$ for the rite parts !

Well, the reason that the hydro doesn't make any noise is because it's a cub!!! The 123 is a great tractor that will serve you well. Great finds and the tiller would be great----like to have one on my 123, but I haven't got one yet!!!

The hydro on my 129 only makes noise when I have the throttle at an idle, and move the hydro lever. It is a very small amount of noise.

That is a cool set-up! Guess with a hydro, a guy would'ent need a gear-reduction unit. Just thought of that. A 123 still sits at the other scrap yard. I might just offer the guy my marlin .22 b/a model 81 w/ weaver scope, ammo, tommrow.I think that it is locked up tighter than the Federal Reserve, but nice shape, ect. O-No, I'AM HOOKED!

well guys maybe thats why i have not heard the hydro yet then !! I have had it idle yet,LOL !! she has been setting for a few yrs, so the carb needs some cleaning among other things, so it it "idles"at about 3200 rpms,LOL need to do some cleaning and adjusting on the carb and probably the govern so it will idle around 800 or so correct ? because idle, quarter, half and WOT are all the same, about 3200rpms,LOL anyway thanks guys, hopefully i will get to spend a lil time with her in the next few weeks and get her purring, especially if the wife wants me to get the garden ready !
