Kt17 ignition coil mounting - Harley replacement
 

Hello everyone,

I have a red Cub 682 with a KT17 Series 1. To make a long story short, after doing all the ignition tests, I need to replace the coil. Instead of going with the expensive OEM coil, I bought the "Harley" style coil that Kirk Engines sells. My question is to the people that have used this coil, how and where did you mount it? Thanks in advance for your responses and pictures.

Not sure if this is the coil you are talking about but this is how I did mine. May not be pretty but works good.

Yes, this is the coil I am using. Thanks for the pictures. Now I just need to find some time to actually change it out.
