Cub cadet 70 questions
Hi everyone. I have a cub cadet 70 that I bought 2 years ago. Ran great and all it needed is the governor adjusted. The only changes I made were to put on the correct seat pan and add a sleeve hitch. I went to start it one day and saw it wouldn't turn over. I looked under the hood and noticed the spark plug wire had developed a crack in it. I replaced it, but still nothing. I have a brand new wiring harness but I'm wondering what my other options would be to get it going again? :bigthink:

Was it totally dead when you turned the key, nothing from the S/G? if so just get a test light or Meter and start checking for 12v DC power starting with the battery.
Did it ever work with the new harness? |
I never installed the new harness. No the 2 times I used it it started fine with no issues. Plus the battery was fairly new. I even tried jump starting it after I put the new spark plug wire on and still nothing.
