1650 to a 1250

I picked up this perfectly imperfect preserved 1650 sat morning for 35$ from the junk yard.

After some flipping of parts, she is now a 1250 with lift assist.. the whole transformation took a whopping 21hrs... Here she stands now..

To adjust them you have to jack one of the rear wheels up in the air, then tighten the square headed bolt on the brake arm on the bottom front of the transmission. If that makes any sense...

I forgot to add that the reason for jacking one wheel in the air is so that while tightening you spin the tire. When you feel it grabbing stop tightening the bolt and tighten the jam nut. Voila your brakes are adjusted, or should be.
