New to me Cub 100 with loader

Hello everyone. I have been wanting a garden tractor for some time, and finally got the nerve to ask a guy about his Cub Cadet. It is a 1964 100 with a kwik-way loader. It has both the bucket and manure forks and duals for the rear tires. I also got a 1973 129 with the deal. We got the 100 running the other day after a carb rebuild and a coil. Looking to do a restore on it from ground up. Thanks all.

Hello and welcome! Good looking Cubs! Loader bucket looks massive on there.

Cool 100 and 125. Brian's right that loader looks huge

Very nice find!! Like Brian and Terry said... don't think I have ever seen a bucket that large on a cub! I've always wanted a loader but haven't ever stumbled into one.

Have fun and enjoy :beerchug:

You walked into a couple of good finds. Love the loader. I missed out on a deal a couple of years ago, kicked myself ever sense.

An update on the 100. After a carb kit and a coil, we got it running again. Everything seems to be functioning well, including the loader. The rear end had a seal leak and the engine was coughing up oil through the blow by. Decided to take care of the transaxle first. I decided that if I was going to have to take it apart to replace one seal, I would take it all apart and replace all the gaskets and go over the bearings. Overall, it was pretty clean. A couple races needed replaced, and I ended up getting a different set of axle carriers that used bearings instead of brass bushings as I couldn't find the right bushings to fit properly. Finally getting the transaxle put back together. Just waiting on new brake linings and I should be ready to get it all back together.

Wow that sure is a nice loader! Must be an early 100 since it had bushings instead of bearings in the axle tubes..

I'm a sucker for the 70 and 100 series.. one of my favorites of all time.. IH had the lines right on them.
