482 electric pto issues
My dad has a 482 with motor swap 14 horsepower single cylinder Kohler and he's having issues while mowing. He will mow about a half hour and then the mower will bog down and over heat the motor. But once the pto is shut off the motor acts fine. He thinks the electric pto clutch brake is bad. Any suggestions? Since this isn't the original motor for the tractor he's stumped.

Maybe it's the "load" put on the PTO. Is the mower deck & mule drive bearings (and/or pulleys) all in good shape...????

As far as I know, deck spindles all turn fine and were recently greased serviced by the local Case dealer. Mule drive pulleys seem fine also. Is there a way to adjust the pto load?

The electric pto that was on the motor is a Warner. When dad bought the tractor it already had that 14hp kohler in it, he kept burning through heads and head gaskets just driving the tractor pulling a lawn cart around until he realized there were no engine tins to help cool it down. So the dealer ordered some and put those on the last time.
