Need help repairing wire on 122
hi guys as you all may now i have purchased a 1967 122 that caught fire the fire was caused by the fuel tank cap being blown off also because of the fire the wires that go too the voltage regulator were burned can i use regular wire to repair the wire or does it need to be braided wire
thanks thad |
I 've made some wiring harnesses for my projects. For Cub Cadets I mostly use 14 ga. wire that's sold in auto supply stores.
My personal preference is to remove the plastic from a crimp connector, solder the wire to the crimp connector, then cover connection with shrink wrap. http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/p...pictureid=6404 |
You must use stranded wire, not solid.
