Picked up this Original today. Been working on the guy since yesterday, and finally agreed on a price both of us could live with this morning.
Has the lights, kinda anyway:biggrin2: One front is roached as well as the rear lens. Has the front lift rod still on it. Early dash tower. It's been around the block a couple times, but figured I'd bring it home and give it a new lease on life. Check out that plug that was in it...
Checked the fuel tank, smelt dry, so added some fuel, put some oil down the cylinder, checked the oil, hooked the booster box on and turned it over...
Put a plug in and it fired up for a second and the fuel ran out the carb.
Removed the carb and did a cleaning and reinstalled it, no leak, and it started and runs like a fine watch..:beer2:
Has a sloppy re-paint some time in it's life. How bout' those front tires?
Check out the PO mod of the throttle cable...Just when you thought you've seen everything..

I've been looking for an "O" for a while now. But you know how when your looking at Cubs sometimes you just look at one and go... nah. Then there's others you look at and go: YEAH! That's it! That's the one! ........ That's what the one is you just got. I would have bought it up too! :beerchug:

Very unique Todd. I actually love those front tires. Great options on it, fenders, lights, great job getting it. The Os grow on you I can't explain it either. My buddy Andy on here kept saying it but I never believed him until I got one, then one turned into two, then three. It's going to want the same treatment as your current project though!

Thanks, it actually found me this time. A phone call from one of my eyes out there found it in the PO's barn, and a couple phone calls from me and face to face deal sealed it..:biggrin2:
