129 driveshaft coupler

I was working on my 129 today and I was wondering if this love joy coupler is what they used on this or if it's a PO mod.

Factory piece should look like this. These are parts I make. The arrow on the end of the driveshaft is where I make it the exact size of the pin about 1/16" deep so it's easier to start the pin straight.

Never used one on the front end, just on the back end of the drive shaft to drive the hydro.
I've done 2 of them that way, one on my 782 and have 600 trouble free hours using it.
The other one,I just put on my 1650 this past winter.
No they are not that way from the factory.

I had a feeling that it was from a PO since I can see the actual coupler that it's welded on to. I don't have worries about it, they did what seems to be a good weld job. I just thought I'd ask about it
