New clutch spring compressor

I'm never going back to the service manual's method of compressing clutch springs.

This is how I do it. Yes, it is in a vise but just for my convenience to hold my compressing fixture. Safe and easy to do either compressing or releasing the spring after removal of roll pin. I have more pictures but size matters here so I gave up on further uploads.

The threaded rods remain attached to the lower 2x2 angle iron. Nuts are pinned to not spin. Three holes in lower angle iron. Two for the threaded rods and one hole for the drive shaft stub.

Top angle iron same three holes with one change. Hole for driveshaft has two slots to allow roll pin to pass through angle iron once inserted into drive shaft.

You can walk around with this compressed.

Yeah I did the same thing after a few trial and error runs. It was safe and secure.
