1200 with a 44a
 

I have my 1200 about done, and The deck I think is a 44a, not 100% sure
the Number on the plate is 0320017u072463
I'm new to the Cub & decks, and I've read other post that refer to a 4" or 5"
center pully. And i've read that these decks turn slower than other mowers.

The pullet measures 5" diameter. Just looking for some info & advice, Should I change it out or keep it?

To get the actual size of the deck measure the outer blades across from outside to outside. You should come up with either 44 inches or 50 inches.

You can purchase the 4" center pulley to speed up the blades. I did this to one of the decks I had. It made some noticeable difference in how far it threw the grass compared to the 5" pulley. I can't remember but I think you will need a new shorter PTO belt to accommodate the new pulley size.

I believe this is the correct #: IH-126393-C1 Cub Cadet parts are showing it no longer available. You will probably have to do some searching or post in the wanted section.
