That is a 123, first of the hydrostats and one of the most sought after tractors :biggrin2:, so it is worth whatever they are asking for it and then some!!! :biggrin2::biggrin2:

Justin, all kidding aside, there are many threads on here discussing the factors that affect the price of a cub cadet, as this question has come up too many times to count. Search the forum and you will find them and hopefully find them helpful. LOL (Lots Of Luck)!

Buddy, this is like the 4th time you have posted a link to a cub for sale and asked how much it's worth. You have got to do some research, or just pay the asking price or guess..... you can't ask about every cub you see for sale. Remember it's a garden tractor. $500 is about the middle of the road. More than that it better look good and run good.

I have to agree with J-Mech.
When your looking for that next purchase know how much the options are worth, study the pictures to see what is all on the tractor to get an idea of what you think it's worth. Read the posters description to see what's included if not in pictures, gauge what those are worth. All this comes with experience and researching the product. Then if this is going to be a restore you need to look for what isn't originally equipped. Find out what that's gonna cost you to replace. All this factors into buying something used. Once the above is done, now your ready to call the poster to setup a time to go look at the product. Remember that pictures look way better than the real thing. Because when you take a picture your standing 10-30ft away. Pictures aren't going to pick up scratches and such.

We're here to help, not price out your future purchase for you. I just gave you the tools to do that, now you need to apply said tools to make your own decision on a future purchase.

There is a difference between "helping" someone and "rescuing" someone. Normally, the helped person learns from the experience and doesn't repeat.

The Value of something has numerous variables, such as age, condition, rarity, geographic location, and the all infamous.......I want it bad factor.

What you would pay $500 for the next guy wouldn't pay $50 for and vice versa.

It appears to be a hydro tractor with no options, paint looks OK at best and it won't mow correctly with the big rear tire so they'll need to be changed. He says the engines fresh but unless he has all the receipts to back it up then it doesn't mean a thing. I'd put a top value on that tractor of $500, if the engine really is rebuilt and done properly then $850 would be acceptable but if the guy that built it doesn't have a micrometer then its nothing more than a boat anchor.

No he put in a new engine.
