Original front wheel bearings
 

Has anyone ever put a regular wheel bearing in the wheels or is putting the bushings back in the best way to go? Mine are shot and need to replace before I do any plowing.

I don't think there is a bearing made in that size, but I could be wrong. You'll probably have no choice but to put new bushings in it.

i dont re-call on my Original. but my 72 has inner and outter wheelbearings. on bran new rims and tires, that is! i should know what is on my 71.

Narrowframes have 3/4" spindles and bearings. Originals have 7/8" spindles and bushings.
