Does anyone have an idea of the fair market vaulue, or collectors price of this machine? I am seriously thinking of selling it on eBay. I have had it since 1979, and rebuilt most of it in 1982. It has been repainted. The 7 HP has been over hauled, grille lights updated,. Comes with the original 2 blade mower deck, snow blower, front blade, dual tires with weights and chains, Planet Jr. Plane-tiller model 0-32, with B&S 4 HP motor, and creeper gear box. It needs a good cleaning, cause I still use it in the yard.

I would think that it has more value right now as a great useable yard machine, as your paint job is getting a little long in the tooth. Most collectors would want to refresh it cosmetically, including undoing your headlight conversion.

As a plus, you do have the stock air filter, hood trim ,DUALS!, and the correct deck, and it runs well.. If i had to guess, and this is a WAG I would think anywhere between $500-1000 for tractor with deck. Nowadays probably at the lower end. I paid $150 for a running O with hood trim, no filter, no deck, with creeper...however it has a snowblower engine mounted backwards, so it has three reverse gears and one forward...

I'm not familiar with the tiller....It is not OEM cub, and would most likely net you a better return sold separately. If it could attach to any lawn tractor you have a lot more folks looking for tillers than are looking for a restored O.

I'm not an expert on the Originals, just a regular cub addict, so what I said is ONLY an opinion. Good luck!
