Pto clutches
Hello everyone
Has anyone used Xtreme PTO clutches? They are way cheaper than Cub Cadet for my 2284 it is only 150.00. |
Sam Mac, one of the Mods here, has recently brought those clutches to the attention of the members here. If I'm not mistaken, he has installed them also. They seem to be the most economical solution. :beerchug:

Just put one on an LT2180. I'm very impressed with it. :beerchug:
Link to the thread about it and contact info for the seller without having to deal with Flea Bay. |
I also now have an XTREME PTO On my 2182. Very impressed with the quality, and replaceable bearings. I doubt I will ever have to replace them.
Also priced right!:beerchug: |
Can you get me a pic and the part number for the one you put on your 2182? I may need to replace one on that last 2182 I picked up.

Thanks guys for all the good feedback I will be ordering one.

My original pto clutch is # 917-3389, and I bought a 917-3389X
It is a perfect fit. even the wire plug is correct. The sticker on the pto said to mount the coil towards the engine. That is backwards for 2182 application. After talking with Jason Bowe 561-852-1010-Office at Xtreme, we realized the kabota engine is a different set up, and to mount it just like factory set up. Long story short. Forget the sticker and put it on just like the old one. Pictures to follow. :beerchug:Don |

Pics and info are perfect. Thanks Bud! My guess is that a bunch of us will be buying from these guys. They make the Warner stuff look like junk. :beerchug:
