Quick hydro seal change
 

Some pics on the hydro seal changes. One of them the new seal is all molded, where as the original one had a stamped steel structure. It didnt seem as good of quality, but at the same time it will likely work just fine. Once installed it gets a washer over the top of it anyway so functionally should be fine.

Did the trick of drilling a small hole through the old seal to then pry it out using pliers. Worked well.

Then back together

Make sure to clean the paint off where the filter mounts. I can't tell from the pic if it's paint on tape, or if it's on the metal.... just make sure there is none before mounting the filter. :beerchug:
