Narrow Frame Gas Line

Hi all,
Should all NF have a brass fuel line with a bowl? Only my 105 does and I guarentee the other ones that have a rubber hose are not factory.
So if the gas tank was attached to the engine it should have brass line?

Thanks

Pretty sure "factory" is steel, not brass.

Nothing wrong with using rubber.

Thanks for the quick answer. I'm restoring these so just trying to get what should be on there

J-Mech 04-01-2015 03:12 PM

If it's a restoration, I completely understand wanting "OEM". Check with Lew, but like I said, pretty sure OEM was steel. :beerchug:

only the original had copper fuel line if I recall correctly. the 70 on up all had steel fuel lines until the wide frames.
