Tail light on 100

hello folks, My 100 does not have a tail light, or reflectors. Not sure why I'd really ever need one, But I would like to see if anyone here has a few close up
pictures of one on a 100. I see a few reasonable priced reproductions & brackets and I may get it just because. Not really sure where they were supose
to mount. Wiring is simple.

thank you
Dave

You guys are great! Now if someone can
Take a pic of how they mounted it, I'll probably
Order one just for coolness sake. The back of mine
Needs some bling!

Dave,

Rear reflectors and taillights are used for safety. Anyone who plows their driveway, blows snow, mows at dusk, drives on the road, etc. should have reflectors and/or rear taillight so as to be seen from behind. A couple of years ago, there was a picture on the forum where someone was using their cub cadet to pull a brush pile in a small trailer down the road. A driver did not notice/see him and hit his cub cadet from behind. The cub cadet was pretty much a total loss, but he was mostly alright (scrapes and bruises). Even though a load of brush can obstruct the view of a rear taillight or a careless driver may not observe someone on a garden tractor moving on the side of the road, I would always caution someone to err on the side of safety.

I do not know what your plans are with your cub cadet, but if you work along the roadside, then the reflectors and/or rear taillight is more than just bling.....to me, it is necessary equipment to stay safe.

Also, you can post a wanted add for either of these items in the Trading Post section of the forum and see if a member has some extra.

Happy cubbin',
