I inherited a free 125, deck plow and tiller, 15 years ago along with a tree growing out of the seat, lol! After I got it running and realized what a beast these machines are I felt pretty bad and gave them $500 towards a crapsman which was dead and buried within five years, oh well at least I had clear conscience.

My 5 year old son and I are doing a frame off refresh, he is my go getter, ratchet man and even sprayed some paint. Did I mention the " invention" we built together? The rust electrolysis tank, he drilled the holes, what a kid! When I get the pic posting thing figured out I would love to share.

Thanks to all those here that ask and answer questions so guys like us can get our hands dirty and not feel overwhelmed,

Good job working with your Son, he is really gonna be "big stuff" when your project is finished and he's cruising around the property on a machine that he had a hand in restoring.

I think we really need some pictures of this.

Here he is "helping" dad do some welding on the sacrificial rods,

Glad your getting some help from your boy but I don't think those boots are approved for welding, kinda looks like they'd catch on fire easy.

Ya its all about the style! Of course he was watching from an approved distance lol.
