Swapping 54 inch deck discharge chute

Anyone know where I can buy the material most commercial grade mowers use for discharge chutes? Like on this ferris. I don't like the hard plastic chute.

If you have a rock quarry near you stop by and ask if you can buy some used conveyor belt.

or maybe a real rubber mud flap like off a semi or dump truck, etc.
A TSC store might have some close.

I thought that too but I think it might be too thin

Stop at a truck stop or a truck parts center. You can buy mud flaps 1/2" thick. Id also second the conveyor idea. I worked in a limestone quarry years ago. Belts get replaced often and they have little use for the old ones. We used to give ours away to a guy who had horses. He used it in his barn for something.

Great ideas guys! Will try the truck stop and if that fails off to the quarry, not sure where one is but I bet those conveyor belts would be pretty durable.
