2182 differences

Lately I've been working on and ordering parts for my 2182, and there seems to be 3 different ranges of serial numbers. Was wondering if any other 2182 owners cared to share the differences they've noticed?

The one thing I've researched so far while doing maintenance, is that there were driveshafts installed with and without grease zirks.

I'm sure Diesel Krazy will jump in here and post a few, he's pointed out a number of things so far that are different between mine and the nice one he owns.

I don't have a clue but, a quick peek-a-boo at partstree.com lists three 2182 models.
A point you mention above.

The model parts, drawings, depend on the serial number of the Cubbie.

pto

the early 2182s have a pto with a 41/2" pulley, and the other 2 newer groups use a pto with a 6" pulley. That is why the early 2182s use a 450 blower, and the newer ones use the 451 blower.

You'll also find some changes in the cooling system area. Later machines have an over flow bottle and the water pump is different, ask me how I know. :bash2:
