782 purchase

Hi guys I have a chance to buy this 782 only an hour away. Runs good only issue is it has a hydraulic line leak. Is $400 too much, no mower deck only the tractor.

Here is the pic.

i think its worth it. 782's are arguably the perfect garden tractor. i love mine with the loader on it and cat 0 three point.

question is whether it has the series I or series II in it....

Thanks Shaner. It's got a small hydraulic leak but he assured me its a small one. Easy fix

That's a bargain in my neck of the woods. I'm thinking hand this guy the money before he changes his mind

He was originally asking $500. But it was posted for over 3 weeks. I'm very shocked to know that I was his first call. He came down to $400 and we are meeting halfway for both of us:beerchug:

depending on the leak, it could be very minor or a major job to fix. very minor would be a hydraulic hose leaking, major would be the cork gasket behind the pump. the rear end has to come out, the pump removed and a new gasket installed. its NOT fun.

it still looks like a nice unit. scoop it while you can!

It would be a good deal here.

I pick it up Thursday afternoon.

The cork gasket replacement is not that entailed.
unbolt it, roll it out, tip it up and do it.
You don't even have to drain the hyguard.
