New 1200 in the shop

For those that have been following and connecting the dots, the 1200 has finally arrived in my shop! Now, to be honest, it's not mine. A friend has bought it in anticipation of the snow-ma-gedon we have coming tonight into tomorrow. Anyway, we picked it up today.

We got it, eventually loaded it, and drove home. I'm going to paraphrase here, but the list of work completed between a good buddy of mine and me is:
  • New fuel line
  • Attach Carb Air Cleaner
  • New air filter
  • New fuel filter
  • New ignition switch
  • New solenoid
  • New Spark Plug
  • Install 2 motor mount bolts
  • Change Oil
  • Drain/replace fuel

And more I'm sure I forgot. This was a last minute project so pictures are minimal. Enjoy what I've got, I'm sure I'll have more tomorrow of my buddy playing in the snow we have :beerchug:

Looks like she outta work! Only things I can think of that you left out is check the rubber ISO mounts and get some weight on there. He will need it.

Nice work on the 1200 Ryan.

Congratulations on the 1200!! Looks like it will do well in the snow. May want to chain up the tires if you are using the blade. I just put some chains, blade, and new front tri ribs and made a big difference in handling.

Glad your buddy recognizes a quality machine when he sees it and will get lots of utility out of his 1200.

Boy you guys don't miss a thing!! :biggrin2: We did get some chains on it to use as well as a fresh engine oil change. As far as the ISO's go, I was pleasantly surprised by them. They actually aren't squashed pancakes like you usually see. They aren't perfect, but they certainly aren't on the top of the to do list, either.

What they said.

Yeah, looks great, just like the 1200 I picked up out here last fall. Bought it to pull my log splitter around but as it came with chains, plow and mower deck (currently off) I decided to take it out in the snow we had yesterday. Looks like your list of action items is a good place to start on maintenance. I was wondering, my machine seems to vibrate excessively at higher rpm's. I was thinking motor mounts? You guys have any thoughts?

Nice!

You guys are efficient. I have a couple I would like to drop off for a day, and you can go through your list.

:biggrin2:

Enjoy the snow!!
