Hello, first post. I acquired a Cub Cadet 1650 garden tractor and was wondering if there was any input on this model. Are there any problem area's I should be looking for? Thanks for any input.

First, Welcome to our Forum....... :Welcome2:

The weak spot on the Quietlines (which the 1650 is part of) was the Motor (ISO mount) system.

There is a easy fix for this. See link....Modification

A 1650 can be a really nice machine. Get your motor mounts in good shape, doublecheck all the driveshaft couplers, keep good HYtrans in it and do all the regular greasing, adjusting, etc recommended in the manuals and it should be a bulletproof unit. Also if nobody has gone thru the steering that is another area to inspect closely, from the box to the tie rod ends to the front axle pivot pin.

I can vouch for the pivot pin thing! Do a search on the forum for 1650. There are a bunch of threads.
