2082 lift bracket for plow or blower

Forgive me for the amateur question, but I'm new to the cyclops and am still learning the ropes.

...anyway, tonight I went to mount up my 551 to the 2082 and low and behold, no lift bracket. I assume the bracket mounts to the stub on the right side of the tractor just like my 1440, so I pulled that bracket and went to swap it, only to find it doesn't fit. Because the 1440 has a manual lift, the fork on the bracket is much wider than what I need for the 2082.

Any suggestions here?

Also, anyone have a diagram of a 551 lift frame? I want to make sure I've got everything I need to have an operable blower for the impending blizzard.

You need reference #1 in this pic:

Aaron at xtrememotorworks.com makes the bracket. $80 plus shipping. Scroll down the page listed and you will see it. It looks similar to the one for the manual lift, but they are different.

The one Xtrememotorworks makes is far better than the cast piece from CC.

Thank you both. Now I'm on the hunt for one (I'll check out extreme too).

Do you think if I were to shim the one I have for now (to mimic the manual lift arm), I could get away with it for the big storm tonight?

Sounds like you don't have much choice. Try the shims but plan on getting the proper part ASAP. Hope you guys in the North East don't get pounded too bad.

Haha. You may be right my friend. I'll see how it goes. As for the storm, the snow shouldn't be too bad (15-30" total accumulation expected) but the winds are going to make for some monumental snow drifts.

Oh well, it's my own fault for not having the rig ready for snow duty.
