Sweeper?

Looking into building a sweeper that mount on the front of a NF, for cleaning out barns and getting the rocks out of the yard in the spring. I just don't know how to fab it up or reverse the direction the sweeper spins. Has anybody seen this built or built one themselves. I'm open to suggestions.
Brad.

Sweepster isn't a guy, it's a company. They make power brooms and street sweepers. There are other companies. That's just a pic of a cub cadet with one on it. My point was, you can buy them. You don't have to make one. They don't come up for sale often, but I've seen 3-4 sell in the last 2 years. You just have to look for them. Even if you bought one that fits say, a JD, it's easier to adapt than it is to start from scratch. Look around, they're out there.

Unless you are just looking for a huge project to undertake, it will most likely be cheaper to buy one then rebuild/refresh it than to build one yourself.

Cadet connection magazine just had an article on the sweepsters in the new issue that just came out. Company is still in business. Back in the day it said they made them for IH ford chevy and dodge trucks too! Saw one years ago at an auction but went for big $, more than I was willing to spend at the time

Does anyone happen to have a guess of what belt length one of those has for a wideframe. 149 or 1650

Bercomac makes them for newer tractors, but I'm sure with a bit of know how one could make it fit. You mentioned you "could" build one, re-fabing the attachment frame may not be that difficult.
