Horn for the 72
I have a cub cadet 72. It had some sort of light bolted to the side of the grille frame I took it off because I got the actual lights for it. A few months later I got a motorcycle for scrap. I than got the idea to take the horn off and put it on the cub. I bolted it on the inside using the hole from the light. The dash had some holes in it so I put a button in it for the horn, wired it up, works great. I just wanted to put the idea out there and see what others think of it. I'll have pics later.

Don't forget to put that deer crossing sign in your yard so you can honk your horn driving past it.:biggrin2:

Someone had a horn on a 169 that he thought to be factory. Not sure, but I know some IH tractors had them on them. If a customer wanted on I guess they wouldn't turn him down?

My wife said she would run out with a cold drink if I had a horn.:beerchug:

FWIW, IH did offer a horn as an option.
Look here http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/showthread.php?t=58 Personally, if I were out in the yard wanting a cold beverage, I'm pretty sure Betsy would text me and tell me to stop blowing that %@&# horn. |

169 with a horn
Yep,
That 169 was mine, and if it wasnt original I commend whoever installed it because the wiring was part of the harness and the button was were the cigar lighter would be and looked to be pearl white. I sold it to a friend of mine. Cub crazy wanted it but that never happened. Mike |
Go big or go home.

Humm... I've got a small set (3) of 12v electrically operated air horns, that I could add, to "wave" at the neighbors as they pass. :bigthink:
