1782 headed north

Sold my 1782 to Andy2182. Andy took a ride to VA today and picked up my 1782 today. Andy is a great guy, enjoyed meeting him and glad my 1782 is going to a good home. I won't hog up the conversation because as I write this he is still on the road. We spent close to 3 hours talking Cub stuff. OCC has some seriously great people. :beerchug:

Now Ill have to change my avatar & sig, crap.

WHAT? We need more details, Sam. Did this come about from a post in a thread on here? I would have paid more:bash2::biggrin2:

J/K Congrats on a SUPER SMOKER, Andy!!! :beerchug:

I think what Sam is trying to say is he had to sell one to make room for that 2182 he's been working on :biggrin2:

Nope no need to make room as I'm sure Andy can attest to.

Yep that 2182 will be going to SC for the kids when it finished. Just don't need all the stuff I have when all it does is cut grass once in a while. I also have another very nice 2182 that I would consider selling if one of you guys just has to have one. :biggrin2:

This stuff was part of the 1782 deal. Got an 1862 with a 3 point and a 400 tiller plus some $$$. Tiller looks like it has a couple broken spirol pins on the bottom shaft and the engine has a NLA intake manifold with a crack, I'll see if I can get it welded. I'm in the process of tearing the tiller apart to see what it needs inside the chain case, I hope it's too bad. I may just drop a Chonda on it for power. The 1862 may get parted out. It seems to run decent but I'm just not in the mood at the moment to "Save another one". :beerchug:

Sam if you need an intake manifold i have a few that will fit the Magnum 18 thats in that thing...if it still has the Magnum in it.

Shrewcub 12-27-2014 07:52 PM

Guys, I sent PM on the 3 point already. Sorry :beerchug:

I need a manifold for the Broke & Scattered, it's B&S part number 212488.

The Mag 18 runs decent. Played with the low and high speed adjustments just a little and the old girl settled down to a nice idle. Tractor could be made into a nice worker, plastic is pretty good. Andy gave me a nice fender pan and a nice fuel tank both for the later style Cyclops. It also has a 46GT deck that seems to be good, may need an idler pulley. Like I said I just am not in the mood at the moment to play Captain Save a Cub.
