I've torn down the 1650 and pulled it out yesterday and pressure washed it. Today I did it again after I saw all the places I missed
When I pulled it out to where it was yesterday, I found this lying on the ground: Any ideas? |
pressure plate, DRIVE DISC, drive plate. its a drive disc. hope i've been some help.
|
One of two things happened-
That may be a disk from another tractor that got thrown on there. or That 1650 had a rare drive shaft disconnect, basicly a hydro with a clutch. I've seen one in person and they came factory from what the owner told me. Scott |

I resend my statement, that is not a clutch disc/plate. Don't know what it is. Scott |
How big is that thing?
Not that I think I know what it is, just wondering if it's 2" in diameter or 6"... |
What is it made from is another good question. Steel rules out a clutch disc but..... Also, like YoSam says, dimensions would help. Clean it up, get some measurements, and post it again and maybe it will help.
My .02 worth.....Wayne |
could be a pto friction/pressure plate too..............

Could be, but I don't think they have holes in them like that. |
Not to sound rude.....but how dirty was it if you found this disk all of a sudden afterwards? Did small animals live in it before washing??? Could you even see under the sheet metal and engine or tranny?:bigthink:
|
Whatever it is I dont think it goes in a 1650.:HeadScratch:
