I've torn down the 1650 and pulled it out yesterday and pressure washed it. Today I did it again after I saw all the places I missed

When I pulled it out to where it was yesterday, I found this lying on the ground:

Any ideas?

pressure plate, DRIVE DISC, drive plate. its a drive disc. hope i've been some help.

One of two things happened-

That may be a disk from another tractor that got thrown on there.

or

That 1650 had a rare drive shaft disconnect, basicly a hydro with a clutch. I've seen one in person and they came factory from what the owner told me.

I resend my statement, that is not a clutch disc/plate. Don't know what it is.

How big is that thing?

Not that I think I know what it is, just wondering if it's 2" in diameter or 6"...

What is it made from is another good question. Steel rules out a clutch disc but..... Also, like YoSam says, dimensions would help. Clean it up, get some measurements, and post it again and maybe it will help.

My .02 worth.....Wayne

Could be, but I don't think they have holes in them like that.

Not to sound rude.....but how dirty was it if you found this disk all of a sudden afterwards? Did small animals live in it before washing??? Could you even see under the sheet metal and engine or tranny?:bigthink:

Whatever it is I dont think it goes in a 1650.:HeadScratch:
