Mower Deck for a 2084 ?

Just double-checking here but a 44C deck would fit on a 2084 yes?

Thank you but, attatchments listed for my 1200 don't include a 48" mower deck but it will work. I guess I should ask if I were to try it would it work?

That is correct AND....the 48" deck won't fit without the proper adaption Mule Drive. It was NEVER intended to fit the Q/L series.

To your original question, you can make anything fit, with metal, tools, welders, torches and ingenuity.

Ok let me ask again will a 44C fit a 2084 without any modification? Can I slide it under the tractor and hook it up flawlessly other than having to get a different legnth belt of course?

I don't own one, my uncle does. I want to make sure the 44C I have will work before I sell it to him.

Will it mount up, I don't know. I'm wondering about the 2084 pto, isn't that the 6" pto pulley? I'm guessing by age the 44c is made for use with a 4-1/2" pto pulley. It would be spinning way too fast if that were the case, maybe someone else can confirm.

I don't know if it will fit but I think it may be to narrow. The 2084 is wider than a GT. I'm sorry but I just don't have any more info for you.

Well, at least the new owner is a nice guy! I guess we'll try to mount it up. If it doesn't fit, i'll refund him. If it fits but the pulley is the wrong size we'll switch spindles off the 50" that was on it. Thanks guys for putting up with me and sorry for any confusion.

I took the 44" mower deck off of my 682 and put it on my 2072 .All I had to do was ajust the original parts to get it leveled . I got a belt for a 2072 with a 50" deck . The only proublem I have is the back tires hit the deck if you raise the deck completely up . I raise the deck up so the deck dosent hit the tires or the ground for transportation . For mowing as long as you stay on fairly level ground the deck has enough room to move around. You may need to get a different pully for your deck if you have the narrow belt. Good Luck :beerchug:
