loaded tires
what is the best think to load tires with for weight, I know they used to use calcium chloride but it is hard on rims

I used washer fluid rated to -20*F. I got 2 gallons washer fluid in each front tire and 5 gallons in each rear tire.

Lately I use tubes and a product called Rim Guard. It is beet juice (http://www.rimguard.biz/). That is the heaviest product I've found by galion you can use.
I have one set of tires that still have calcium and tubes in them. Tires are 12 years old and not having any problems with them. Some have used windshield wiper fluid, RV antifreeze, water and used auto antifreeze. One thing I do to all my tires is put tubes in them. |

I am with Merk on beet juice and definitely on tubes. I have a set of the Luggs on my tractor with the sweepster broom, but never had cause to use it in the snow yet.....maybe this year!!
http://lugghandles.com/shop/wwa-1285/ This option is more costly if you do not already have the weights to slap on. BTW, the 10 lb. and smaller weights work best and I have about 70-80 lbs. each side. You could run these and IH wheel weights on the inside. Cub Cadet 123 |
