Cyclops Reskinned as 82 Series.......

4 Attachment(s)
As many of you know, I have been working on a project. I often thought it possible to reskin a Cyclops using 82 series metal panels.
Earlier, I showed the modified Cyclops tower which combines a cut down Cyclops dash with a modified 82 dash.
Having the mock up dash assembly done, today I test fit an 82 series grille, hood and side panel on a 1864 frame.
Here are some pictures of the mock up. What do you think?

That is the Cub they should have built, all the good points of the 72/82 series & the Cyclops tractors. Patton, Cub Classics will be in heaven with this. :beerchug:

Only issue I see is cooling, you no longer have the grills like the Cyclops have. Could be a problem on the 1782, 2086 and 2182.

That looks great! Now you just have to paint it all red; yellow and red should never be on the same machine together :biggrin2:

Find a good body man to put some louvres on the side panels. That would look cool!! Put some screen behind them. :biggrin2:

Considering that the Cyclops screens are still available it wouldn't be a big job to cut an opening in the side panels for the screens. They could be glued in place with something like 3M structural adhesive.

Sam, I've been thinking about the screens. Got an idea how to use them and make them look OEM!
