How to tow a Cub ?
 

So.... Cub is dead as a doornail at the bottom of a hill. Is there no way to tow this thing without the engine running? I am a few beers away from plopping a FOR SALE sign on it and saying good riddance.

Narrow frame Cub 125 with Hydro.

Tie it to something (another tractor, 4 wheeler etc.) have someone sit on it to steer and hold the dump valve on the right side of the tunnel. Tow it slow.

X2 to what J mech said. Best scenario for towing a hydro is don't. Second best is slow and hold the hydro dump for sure.

This is how I do it.

Move the lever back and hold it in place with the small flip angle hold down.

And if that silver lever offers no resistance, the sheetmetal tangs inside are broken...like mine was. Meaning, the hydro will not release.

yup, broke here too. anyone got a plan or pictures on how they repaired theres? ive got a 1450
