Will a 18hp Briggs and Stratton fit a 1872 ?
 

Was wondering if a 18hp brigg and stratton that is on a zero turn mower it's laying on its face where the pto goes will work on the 1872 ty:beer2:

If it's a vertical engine I would say no. Some of the Kohlers can be converted from vertical to horizontal but IIRC it takes some machine shop work.

Hi Bob, If you get a horiz briggs, yes. Check out a 582 setup. Briggs may have a 1" crank so you would have to have that pto. Mike
