My Cub 125 "Improvements"

10 Attachment(s)
Got new shoes for my little guy, two new rear tires (Deestone 23x10.50x12). The rims I mounted them on where too deep, so I had to make 2 1/2" spacers to be able to put chains on if needed to plow snow. Made a set of chains from car chains that where on longer needed. The chains are in a nice wooden box that fit in the aux. battery/weight holder on the back of the tractor. The seat was a little hard riding for my old butt, so I added seat springs I got from the bone yard for a buck . Loaded the Cub on my trailer and it's ready to go home. Got it home and it's happy under my patio roof :bouncy:. I think the tires look awesome from the rear (like they mean business) :biggrin2:. Hope you all enjoy the pics.

They aren't standard cub rims. Not sure what they came off of, but the centers are placed half way in the outer rim. That's why I had to make spacers. Made the spacers so the outside of the rear tire lines up with the front and chains won't hit the fenders. The lug holes have the taper on the side with the valve stems on the out side. The rims where free (Lew price :biggrin2:), so I can't complain.

Yep, it is ready for snow. If you look at the first pic, you can see the lug hole indent for mounting.

I would like to make a suggestion about the springs under the seat. Put something between the springs and the seat before they eat 4 holes in that nice original seat. You might think they won't, but they will.

I have rubber caps for the springs, just didn't get them on yet. Have to find them in my shed.

Thanks for the compliments guys. :beerchug:
